Objective

This session is about 3 things.
1. A Groundbreaking development philosophy.
2. A radical testing framework - Jasmine
3. A revolutionary fully automated fake server - AutoMock

Description

In this session, I will introduce you to the development philosophy we follow developing web apps in my team at Adobe. It has worked wonders for us, bringing our regression bugs down from 50+ to 0 for the new version of our application.

Then we will learn how Jasmine can be used to easily handle large complicated workflows. I will demonstrate how Jasmine has been central to our efforts.

And last but not the least, I will unveil Project AutoMock. It is an exciting new project we are working on at Adobe. In short it is a fully automated mock server. If being a frontend developer you have ever had to wait for backend code to get ready or experienced super slow test cases that waited for API calls to load, you’re going to want to check this out.
